I never quite knew the exact terminology of the world monetary system; only that it seems incredibly one-sided. It's clear from the references here that it's no accident, which is probably the saddest thing I've ever heard. Our civilization has made so much progress in its time, but despite all that, we're still awash in greed and inequity. As an individual, I often feel rather helpless against these global forces, but at least there's some clear information on the subject for our consumption, finally... I've even been relatively successful at surviving within the system, and have never even needed to use a credit card to keep myself afloat, but that doesn't make me any happier about the fact that our world is neck deep in corruption and heartlessness. Whatever influence I may have, I will try to use it to change this sad state of affairs... At long last, I have found my cause.
